Originally recorded by Skyy in 1983 on their seminal “Skylight” album, Randy Muller’s Funk Deluxe returns with a funky solid rendition of this classic title (“Show Me The Way”) that’s truly deserving of their name. Remixed by Melbourne -based Producer/DJ Robbie Casa Blanco, “Show Me Da Way – Casa Blanco Radio Mix” / Casa Blanco Mixes” take this Muller - penned title originally remixed for Skyy by none other than the legendary Shep Pettibone (Whitney Houston, Duran Duran, Janet Jackson Madonna, and more) to even greater heights.
A bed of solid bass, pumpin’ drums, syncopated guitar licks and sprinkles of retro keys topped with a refreshing and amazingly tasty vocal performance is no doubt the way to go on this one. Steeped in a rich dance floor heritage, this latest Funk Deluxe outing is a finely calibrated mix of the classic and contemporary, arriving just in time for a brave new world to take to the dance floor.
