Album Notes
Legendary groove master, Randy Muller, has done it again with a syncopated blending of soul, jazz and classic-house topped with vibrant vocals and iconic funky flute work. Responsible for hits by Skyy (“Call Me,” “High”), Charles Earland (“Let The Music Play”), Cameron (“Boogie's Gonna Get Ya”), Garnett Mims (“What It Is”), and his own jam band Brass Construction (“Movin',” “Changin',” “Walkin' The Line”), among others – Randy returns from his highly acclaimed debut soul-jazz "Groovin' U" album with yet another one of a kind flutey pocket of groove. “In my work I always insist on a certain rhythmic factor,” Muller explains. And this essential groove is no exception. "Livin' In Da Rhythm" definitely reveals what Muller has been up to since his last musical outing. And he just keeps "turning' it on!"
